Each unit has a review video split into short chapters that cover the unit's key concepts. The narration and visuals are AI-generated. You can change the playback speed and jump between chapters.

Note packets are follow-along study guides that complement each video lesson. They include fill-in-the-blank sections, key terms, and important concepts. An answer key is provided so you can check your work.

Each unit includes a 20-question quiz with AP-style questions. Additionally, each of the 37 subjects with a written AP exam has 5 classic practice exams in an older format, with new 2027-format exams being added, including multiple-choice and free-response sections. AP Latin's are supplementary practice papers in the earlier Latin exam format, and the 3 portfolio-assessed AP Art and Design subjects include portfolio guidance instead.

Units are organized to follow the College Board Course and Exam Description for each subject, and each question is tagged with an AP skill and topic. AP Latin is the exception: its units follow the earlier Vergil and Caesar sequence. The College Board revises courses and exam formats, so check the current Course and Exam Description for your exam.

Each subscription covers one AP subject. You can add another subject at any time and cancel any subscription from the billing portal in your account settings. To move a subscription between monthly and annual billing, contact us at support@maxyourscore.com.

The tutor never gives the final answer to a specific practice or assessment question. It explains concepts, gives hints, and may work a different, analogous example. It is told which subject and unit you are studying. The tutor is part of paid plans and has generous daily limits.

Spaced repetition is a study technique that spreads reviews of the same material over growing intervals. Our flashcard tool uses the SM-2 algorithm: after each card you rate how well you recalled it, and that rating sets when the card comes back.

Yes. The flashcard tool is free with an account: you create your own decks and review them with SM-2 spaced repetition. There are no ready-made decks in the review queue, so you start by making your first deck.

The study planner lays out a week of study from your AP exam dates and your quiz scores, giving more time to subjects with a closer exam or lower scores. It follows fixed rules rather than AI. Cram mode builds a day-by-day plan from your exam date and the hours you can study each day.

In a limited way. With a free account you can add friends, see a leaderboard of you and your friends ranked by XP, and see your friends' recent activity. You can also create a study group or join one by invitation; a group is a member list for now: there is no group chat and no live study session.
