30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

Every paid MaxYourScore plan comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the Service for any reason within 30 days of your purchase, you may request a full refund. After 30 days there is no prorated refund: you can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, you can:

  1. Email us at support@maxyourscore.com with the subject line "Refund Request" and include your account email address.
  2. Use the contact form on our website and select "Billing & Subscriptions" as the category.

Score Guarantee

We stand behind our content with a score guarantee: complete a subject on MaxYourScore as described below and score at least a 4 on the official AP exam, or get your money back. If you meet every condition and your official score is below a 4, we will refund every payment you made for that subject's subscription.

The Score Guarantee does not cover AP 2-D Art and Design, AP 3-D Art and Design, AP Drawing and AP Research. AP 2-D Art and Design, AP 3-D Art and Design and AP Drawing are assessed by portfolio and have no practice exams. AP Research has no end-of-course AP exam; its score comes from an academic paper, presentation, and oral defense, which our practice exams do not reflect. Subscriptions to all four subjects are still covered by the 30-day money-back guarantee above.

The guarantee applies when all of the following are true:

  • Every unit video watched to at least 90%, measured by the time our server observed.
  • Every unit quiz completed with a best score of at least 70%.
  • Five qualifying practice exams submitted with at least 80% of the multiple-choice questions answered and every free-response question attempted, the last one at least 3 days before the official exam. Classic exams qualify until 5 current-format (2027) exams exist for that subject; then only 2027-format exams qualify.
  • An official AP score below 4 in the same school year.
  • A claim made within 30 days of score release, with the official score report.

Completion is decided on our server from the activity recorded on your account. To claim, email support@maxyourscore.com with a copy of your official score report. One claim per subject per exam year.

Refund Eligibility

  • Any paid plan: Full refund within 30 days of the purchase date. This covers monthly and annual subject plans, All-Access and the Day Pass.
  • After 30 days: No prorated refund for unused time, on monthly or annual plans. Cancel at any time from Settings, under Manage billing; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for and are not charged again.
  • Renewal payments: If you forgot to cancel and were charged for a renewal, contact us within 7 days of the renewal charge for a full refund of that payment. The subscription is cancelled with the refund.
  • Free plan: The free plan does not involve any charges and therefore is not eligible for refunds.

Processing Time

Once your refund request is approved, the refund will be processed within 5-10 business days. The refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Depending on your bank or credit card provider, it may take an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.

After a Refund

  • A full refund of a subscription payment cancels that subscription and ends the access it gave as soon as the refund is processed. Other subscriptions on your account are not affected.
  • A partial refund does not cancel the subscription.
  • If a payment dispute (chargeback) is decided in the cardholder's favor, the subscription that payment was for is cancelled and its access ends.
  • You keep the free plan: unit 1 of every subject stays open.
  • Your study progress, flashcard data, and quiz history will be preserved on your account.

Exceptions

We reserve the right to deny refund requests in cases of clear abuse of the refund policy, such as repeated subscription-and-refund cycles. We will always communicate directly with you before denying any refund request.
