MaxYourScore is an AI-powered educational platform that provides AP exam preparation resources including video lessons, flashcards, practice exams, quizzes, note packets, score predictions, and an AI Socratic tutor. The Service is available via the web at maxyourscore.com and may be available through mobile applications in the future.
3. Accounts
- You must create an account to access most features of the Service.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and keep it up to date.
- You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts for the same person.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
- The Service offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid plans provide access to additional features and content.
- Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually as selected at purchase. Prices are displayed in US dollars.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period. You may cancel at any time from your account settings.
- Payment processing is handled by Stripe. By purchasing a subscription, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.

6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.

- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying algorithms, models, or data of the Service.
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our written permission.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity.
- Use the AI tutor or any other feature to generate content unrelated to AP exam preparation (e.g., writing essays for school assignments).
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
7. Intellectual Property
- All content on the Service, including video lessons, practice exams, flashcards, note packets, AI-generated content, software, and branding, is owned by MaxYourScore or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
- Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial educational purposes.
- "AP" is a registered trademark of the College Board, which is not affiliated with and does not endorse MaxYourScore.
8. AI Tutor and AI-Generated Content
- The AI tutor is designed to guide your learning using the Socratic method. It does not provide guaranteed correct answers and should not be relied upon as the sole source of information.
- AI-generated content (including video lessons and explanations) is provided for educational purposes and may occasionally contain errors. We work continuously to improve accuracy.
- Score predictions are estimates based on your practice performance and are not guaranteed outcomes.
9. User Content
If you submit content (such as study notes, forum posts, or feedback), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with the Service. You retain ownership of your content.
10. Disclaimers
- The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
- We do not guarantee any specific AP exam score or academic outcome.
- We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the College Board.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MaxYourScore shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or academic outcomes. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MaxYourScore and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
13. Modifications to Service and Terms
- We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.
- We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect.
- Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in California.
